It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is our talented stamping friend from Colorado, Kim Singdahlsen. Take a look at this fun sketch:
I went in many different directions with this sketch before settling on a plan. I cut a piece of dsp that I wanted to use and that was my starting point. After coloring and cutting out the focal element, I just didn’t like how it was coming together so I cut out another piece of dsp and chose a different focal element. After getting everything ready to place down, I wasn’t happy again. However, by simply flipping the piece of dsp over to the pattern on the back, I got happier. I mean, how could you not be happy with rainbow themed paper!
The dsp came from the Playing with Patterns pack and the dino is from the Dino Days stamp set. I cut it out with the coordinating Dino Dies.
We hope you’ll join us and make your own card using the sketch. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
