Whew!! It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on this blog! It’s been a while since I’ve stamped! With making a trip to Atlanta to help my son get moved into his new apartment as he starts his new job after college, and then driving to Michigan and back to help my daughter move out of her apartment and get settled into her new place for school, it has been a very busy month! Though moving is hard work and not very fun, I treasured the time I got to spend with these two. And I’m so glad I got back just in time to participate in Freshly Made Sketches’ 500th challenge!! What a milestone! I am so thrilled to be a part of this team of such wonderful ladies! They are a true blessing in my life and inspire me with not only their incredible stamping talents, but also with the love and friendship they have provided me over the years.
There are some fun prizes associated with this challenge so make sure you stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what you can win. Our hostess this week is our favorite upstate New Yorker, Linda Callahan. Take a look at this fun sketch:

I wanted to play with the Nature’s Harvest stamp set again, and I thought it would work perfectly with the sketch.
I stamped and colored the image before cutting it out with the coordinating die. I then cut out a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using a die from the Scalloped Contours Dies. I added some splatters of Misty Moonlight and Cajun Craze ink and some splatters of watered down white acrylic paint.
The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder and is from the same stamp set.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration and learn how to snag one of the terrific prizes we have to celebrate this 500th sketch!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
