Stocking Pets — FMS511

It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the new dog parent, Linda Callahan, who recently adopted an adorable little rescue dog. Take a look at her fun sketch:

Maybe I was inspired by Linda rescuing her new furry friend when I decided to use the Sweet Little Stockings bundle for this sketch. We lost our beloved Pug, Maggie, back in January and my youngest has been politicking hard to get a new pet. Lately, she has been begging for a cat, but I know she would be thrilled to find any of these three stockings that I’ve made for the card below on Christmas morning.

This stamp set is so fun! I stamped the three critters and stockings and colored them with my alcohol markers. I then arranged them on a piece of white card stock that was cut out with a die from the Scalloped Contours dies collection. This was placed on a piece of dsp from the coordinating Sweet Stockings dsp collection. The little holly leaves are also from the coordinating dies with this bundle.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is just the cutest! I will have to look at that set again, as this is a perfect card for my daughter! She has a cat, 2 guineas, and my dog by proxy!

  2. This is so adorable! I love how colorful it is. And I’ve got to say I’m with your daughter on this one. I think a cute kitten – or preferably two – would make a great Christmas present for the family! 🙂

  3. I’m so sorry your lost your fur baby earlier this year. They are such a huge part of our families. Your card is totally adorable – such cute images and so beautifully coloured.
